Tribes and Wildlife Safari

A guided and well-pondered lodge based Eco-Safari combining some of East Africa’s best wildlife destination. This Kenya -Tanzania cross-border journey provides quality adventure and in-depth details as you discover the contrasting scenery, wildlife environments and varied African tribes. On this tour we visit the Kikuyu, Maasai, Sukuma, Iraqw and the Hadzabe tribes. We also visit  Mount Kenya Forest, Ol Pejeta, Lake Naivasha and Nakuru, Maasai Mara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater - arguably the most spectacular safari destinations in Eastern Africa. Most tourists are driven past these unique community areas leaving only trails of dust but for us we include visits to some of the villages to enhance understanding of Africa. we also support the communities initiatives and eco-safari projects and ensure some benefits from tourism reach the locals directly.

Climbing Kilimanjaro

Kilimanjaro. The name itself is a mystery wreathed in clouds. It might mean Mountain of Light, Mountain of Greatness or Mountain of Caravans. Or it might not. The local people, the Wachagga, don't even have a name for the whole massif, only Kipoo (now known as Kibo) for the familiar snowy peak that stands imperious, overseer of the continent, the summit of Africa.

Sustainable Tourism

We accepts that it must work to preserve the environmental sustainability of the planet, at all levels of its operations – in its own practice, as a participant in a community of practice, and as a participant in the Kenyan social discourse.

How we help

Intoafrica Eco-travel through our principle of sustainable tourism has over the year given a helping hand to communities in the areas we visit so that they can get benefit from tourism. We have been involved in classrooms building in Oloorganaiyo in Masai Mara's Loita plains. Here 3 Classrooms have been completed. We also donate desks and textbooks. Other types of action include staying in Authentic tribal villages or accommodation facilities, sponsoring students through secondary education, tree planting etc.
